About the provider

Carolyn Carpenter is mother of 4, and a family child care provider nurturing and educating hundreds of children for over 30 years. 

She has a BA in Early Childhood Education Administration. 

She is also proud member of CCPU/ SEIU 521. She is currently the president of Alameda County COPE committee and a CAT leader. She was co-chair of the Measure C Policy committee and served on the Covid impact negotiations team with the state. In addition to her union advocacy she collaborates with Parent Voices of Oakland and is a core member of Parents and Providers 4 Kids and is a member of Oakland Starting Strong & Smart FCC Policy Committee.
